Breast Implant Revision 1

This young woman has severe capsular contracture of her right silicone breast implant after placement years ago by another surgeon. She disliked the firmness and displacement of the right implant. She was treated with a capsulectomy procedure on both sides, which removed scar tissue around the implant pocket. Both implants were replaced with smooth round silicone implants of larger size. Issues that can be addressed with revisionary cosmetic breast surgery include removal of capsular contracture, removal of breast scar tissue, improving support of existing breast implants, correction of symmastia, and concealement of implant rippling. Her post operative result demonstrates a softer breast contour with improved implant positioning. Post operative cosmetic breast surgery photos were taken three months after surgery.
