Rhinoplasty surgery is an art and a science. A good rhinoplasty will complement the other features of your face and bring your nose into harmony with your overall appearance.
This cosmetic surgical procedure can alter the shape of the nasal tip, its relationship to the upper lip, alter the shape of the nasal bridge and change the shape of the nostrils and other nasal features.
Rhinoplasty can also be designed to improve nasal breathing by expanding the internal nasal air passages.
Dr. Sattler is an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon with years of experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive nasal surgery.
Rhinoplasty # 1
This patient disliked her substantial dorsal hump, but wanted to preserve some of the nasal features identified with her ethnicity. The post operative rhinoplasty photo demonstrates reduction of her dorsal nasal contour yet retains features consistent with her ethnic origin. Complete correction of dorsal nasal contour would create a nose that did not appear to be 'hers'.
Operative steps for this case: open rhinoplasty, dorsal hump reduction, septoplasty with spreader grafts, tip plasty, columellar strut grafting and alar rim grafting.
